Alluring Impressions
fine rubber art stamps
Meet our Family!
Amy -
My role in Alluring Impressions is focused on the design of new images,
manufacturing the stamps, website and eBay orders and service as well as the Yahoo! group and
Blog (which is sorely neglected!).
I have been stamping since 1993, and recently started scrapbooking in
2006. I have been doodling and crafting since childhood.
I tend to be attracted to monochromatic colors, distressed images, and
love working in collage styles. I tend to use a lot of paper
layering.
My daytime life is spent in the Operating Room working in Orthopedics. I
spend 2 nights a week in school for Graphic Design. When I am not
working or in school, I also enjoy Spending time outdoors gardening,
photographing nature, and just enjoying the outdoors. I participate in
fundraising activities for our local Humane Society each spring.

Meet our design team members!
Kerri Edwards, Minnesota .
My dog, Koko, lets me live with her in the Northern suburbs of
Minneapolis.
I have been stamping since 2003, a couple of years after I met Amy and
family and recently started “re-scrapbooking” in 2006. I say
“re-scrapbooking” as I scrapped in the late 90’s and early 00’s, before
I even knew Amy! I stopped scrapping as my life followed another path
but was very happy to pick up again with paper crafts in 2003, this time
giving card-making a try. I was hooked from the first moment!
I love using bright colors in my work, clean lines, embossing and
glitter! I do love the distressed look as well.
My daytime hours are spent in downtown Minneapolis in an accounting
department of a law firm. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time
outdoors gardening. I also love reading and watching movies.

Q&A
About Your Art:
1) How long have you been stamping? Approximately four
years
2) Do you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced
stamper? Some days I think I am a beginner! But I would
consider myself intermediate.
3) What is your stamping style? (cute, non-cute, elegant, etc.):
It depends on the person, the paper, the stamps and the day! I am
usually bold and bright, but I have my days when I am earthy, too.
4) What stamping supplies do you use the most? Embossing
powder, pigment ink, glitter, this really awesome grid-ruler from Club
Scrap.
About Your Stamping Tastes:
5) Do you prefer mounted or unmounted stamps? As with most
beginners, I started out with wood mounts. Amy introduced me to a number
of annual flea market sales in the Twin Cities. As most people
experience, wood mounts take a tremendous amount of room so I now mostly
collect unmounted which I mount with EZ mount.
6) Do you have a favorite stamping company? Alluring
Impressions, Fairie Song, Club Scrap
7) What stamps (brands or styles/images) do you prefer?
Clean lines, stamps that allow me to color
8) Do you have a favorite stamping magazine or publication?
Technique Junkies Newsletter
9) Where would your favorite place be to receive a gift card from?
Club Scrap.
10) What is your favorite ink? (colors, or brands or types)
Pigment inks for embossing. My favorite colors would probably be
purples, blues and pinks.
11) What about other favorites? (cardstock, embossing powders, etc.)
Club Scrap Papers, Ranger Inks and embossing powders - especially
Distress, Tonic Paper Trimmers, Kai Scissors.
12) What embellishments do you use the most? Again, this
depends on the person and the day! I get on a kick where I use a lot of
brads and eyelets. Then I could be on a fiber kick for a while.
13) What supplies do you have too much of? I am a hoarder
in my craft room! Paper (especially Club Scrap’s paper – I am too afraid
to cut it), Fibers.
14) WISH LIST TIME!! Name five stamping items that you would like to
have:
.Rainbow ink pads 2. a bigger craft room (I have banged my knee five
times today on one of my cabinets) 3. better organization for my paper
scraps 4. mini scor it board and finally, 5. I have to echo Amy with --
More time!!!!
15) Is there one person in the art industry you would like to meet?
Tim Hotlz or Pat Huntoon (publisher of the Technique Junkies Newsletter)
Terri Moore, Denver, Colorado.
"I have been married to my husband Rich for almost 13 years and we have
a 9 year old daughter named Emilia who I home school. We also have an 11
year old Border Collie named Dakota and a 1 year old Westie named Lily.
I have been doing nails part time out of my home for 14 years now and
specialize in hand painted nail art. I have always been a very artsy
person. My current crafts include stamping, scrapbooking, knitting,
quilting, watercolor painting and cooking, I have also tried many other
crafts in my past as well. I started stamping because I had a friend who
became a consultant for a well know scrap booking company a few years
ago and kept trying to get me interested. I tried very hard not to
accept her offer to see a catalog because I knew what would happen. Well,
eventually I gave in and said yes to seeing a catalog. She ended up
sending me a stamp too and I was hooked.
Since I ended up enjoying card
making so much my husband created me a website to try and sell my cards
from so cardsbyterri.com was born in Jan of 06. Unfortunately I found
out shortly after that I was not allowed to use the companies stamps I
was using to make them and sell them via the internet so I stopped using
that companies stamps in my card making and will only use stamps from
true angel companies now . I always thought I would do more scrap
booking than card making but it has turned out to be the other way
around. I still enjoy both though. I am also a member of Lasting
Impressions with Panache creative crew."

Beth Wiley, Mount Prospect, Illinois.
"I live in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois with my husband and 5 children,
ages 3 1/2-10. It's busy and I am a stay-at-home mom, but it's just
where I want to be in my life now.
I've been stamping for about 2 years. It has become my favorite creative
outlet. I love it, but my scrapbooking and other hobbies have suffered
as a result. I belong to a few Yahoo! groups. Participating in swaps and
other things have really introduced me to many new techniques and have
made me a better stamper. Oh my, have I acquired a lot of stuff
though!!!
I love to find interesting images and to try new techniques and
products. Also, I cannot go into a store without checking out the
clearance.
My exciting news is that I had 3 cards published in Stamper's Sampler
(Jun/Jul '07) - a first for me - I was SO excited! I now have the bug .
. . I have been stamping more cards and things and mailing them in, in
hopes to be published again.
I am thrilled to be a member of Alluring Impressions' design team"
